CRAIGMORE’S GOT TALENT

MEN’S BREAKFAST

The Men’s Breakfast will be held on Saturday, 24 March 2012 starting at around 8am.

The team of 7 young people from Cliff College will be joining us for breakfast, and leading us for a short time after.

At the end of the meeting the team will be doing a leaflet drop inviting all the houses in Aghalee and Ballinderry to the various events around the Cliff College visit and also the Alpha course to start shortly after Easter.

Hope you can make the breakfast and if possible let Noel McKee know you can make it for catering purposes.

ALPHA COURSE

We are seeking to be a church where people from all walks of life can explore faith in a way that is real and relevant to the individual, which includes our struggles!  The Alpha Course is an amazing tool for this.

What is the Alpha course?

Alpha is a non-pressurized, fun and informative course. It is a place to share your thoughts and explore the meaning of life. The course is designed primarily for people who don’t go to church or who haven’t been to church in a long time and are interested in the Christian faith.

The growth of Alpha in the UK and worldwide

The Alpha Course spread during the 1990s, initially in the UK and then internationally, as more and more churches and groups found it a helpful and informal way to discuss questions about the Christian faith.

There are now over 55,000 courses worldwide in 166 countries. Alpha is supported by all the major denominations.

For more information on Alpha and visit their website, where you can also find details of our next registered course at Craigmore.

It’s that time of year again when we are blessed to link up with Cliff College. They will be visiting us from Friday, 23 March 2012 until Sunday, 1 April 2012. There are loads of activities planned over the week and a bit that they are with us, and we’ll try to keep you updated with what is happening and if any changes take place.

The first weekend’s activities look like this:

The team arrive on the morning of Friday, 23 March and, after meeting up with their hosts in the afternoon, they will be at Youth Club on Friday night.

Jamie Best - he's funnier than he looks!

This will be followed by a Leaflet Distribution around Aghalee and Ballinderry inviting local residents to our Church, as well as our upcoming Alpha Course.

Saturday evening is packed with entertainment and we would love for you to join us from 7pm to listen to music from The Murphy’s and laughs from local stand-up sensation Jamie Best!
